Investment: Show up. It’s complimentary.
“Well… we’re a few months into 2026. How are those New Year’s resolutions working out for you?”
New Year’s resolutions are like bad cover songs: predictable, uninspired, and nobody sticks around to hear the ending. Why? Because they usually focus on what you don’t want—what you should stop, fix, or force yourself to do.
No wonder most of them disappear before February.
The bigger issue is this: without a compelling vision, most people drift into what I call Groundhog Years – living by default, not by design. Same patterns. Same frustrations. Different calendar.
The ancient wisdom nailed it: “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” — Proverbs 29:18
- Not because they’re lazy.
- Not because they’re not capable.
- But because they’re not aiming at anything inspiring.
It’s time to change that.
